About this site
A working notebook from a software studio — published for every developer who wants the short version first.
Our mission
This site exists to make a developer’s day easier. Every article is a single idea, explained in plain English, with the code and the commands you need to apply it today.
We keep one discipline: technology only — programming, artificial intelligence, web and mobile development, DevOps, developer tools and security. No general news, no sport, no lifestyle, no filler.
How we write
- Short first. If a tip needs three paragraphs instead of three pages, it gets three paragraphs.
- Tested, not repeated. Everything published here comes from real project work — the debugging session, the deploy script, the migration that had to be rolled back.
- Copy-paste ready. Commands and snippets are written so they run as shown.
- Corrected in public. When something changes or we get it wrong, the article is updated and the update date is visible on the page.
Who writes it
The site is written and maintained by Mohammed Khallaf, founder of A1 Systems — a software studio that has been building and shipping products for international markets since 1993.
The same team publishes and maintains the mobile and desktop applications listed in the A1 Systems app catalog.
How the site is built
This is a hand-built PHP application. Articles are written in a rich-text editor inside the admin panel, sanitised on save, and served from a MySQL database with clean, human-readable URLs. There is no page builder and no third-party tracking script: the only external requests are the web font and, when advertising is enabled, Google AdSense.
Corrections and topic requests
Spotted a mistake, or want a topic covered? Use the contact page — corrections are prioritised over new articles, and every message is read.
